Our Mission
The Center for International Interaction and Cooperation develops humanitarian, socio-political, socio-economic, scientific and informational cooperation between Russia and other countries. We aim to be a venue where multipolar dialogue takes shape — where every voice is heard and every kind of expertise is put to use.
Our work follows the approaches of “smart power” and “horizontal diplomacy”, within the framework of Russia's Foreign Policy Concept and its Concept of Humanitarian Policy Abroad.
Three Key Tracks
- Public and political engagement — international congresses, inter-party and inter-parliamentary dialogue, and work with young politicians and civic leaders.
- Research, education, analysis and consulting — educational programs for international students, applied research, reports and expert consulting.
- International promotion of cooperation initiatives — media projects, press tours and work with foreign media.
Key Programs and Projects
- “Horizons of Opportunity”: a professional development program run with the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education for international students in their final years at Russian universities. The second cohort includes in-person regional stages in Moscow, St Petersburg, Vladivostok and Krasnodar.
- International Congress of Youth Wings of Political Parties: a platform for inter-party diplomacy, the exchange of parliamentary experience, and a constructive shared agenda for the future.
- School of Electoral Experts: training and coordinating an international pool of independent observers and specialists in electoral law and international standards.
- Practicum for Young Political Scientists and Humanities Scholars: selecting and training a new generation of international affairs researchers.
- Analytical Center and Expert Dialogue: applied research, roundtables and analytical reports produced with leading research centers, universities and development institutions.
- “Russia to the World” Media Expedition: media projects and press tours for representatives of foreign media.
